Graduate and Professional School Fair
This is a major production presented in conjunction with the Liberal Arts Student Council. Every year, representatives from over fifty graduate and professional schools come to Purdue for a one-day fair open to all students. In addition to coordinating the details of the Grad Fair, the committee is also responsible for organizing a weeklong series of seminars to help students prepare for the fair. The committee should coordinate with the Publications Committee to update the website for the fair. Click here to visit the website.

Spring Fest and Research Forum

YEAR LONG PROGRAMS

Grade Appeals Committee
Several PSSC members are selected to serve on the School of Science grade appeals committee.

Science Discovery
Science Discovery is an outreach program for local elementary schools. The goal is to give the kids a fresh perspective on what science can be. A small group of PSSC members will go into classrooms with a fun activity that encourages the students to use scientific thinking. This activity will teach basic scientific concepts that are easily understood and shows the children how science is part of their everyday lives.

Scientific Notation
Two to three times a semester, PSSC publishes a newsletter with information useful to students in the College of Science. Check out some of our work here!
