CAREER DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

The Career Development Committee is responsible for creating opportunities for students in the School of Science to further their education and obtain employment. Some of the programs the committee is responsible for include:

PROGRAMS COMMITTEE

The Programs Committee is responsible for coordinating the external programs that PSSC provides for the Purdue Community. Some of these programs include:

  • Science Discovery
  • Outstanding Teacher in the School of Science
  • Grade Appeals Committee
  • Springfest
  • Old Masters
 

FINANCE AND PUBLICITY COMMITTEE

The Finance and Publicity Committee is responsible for devising methods of raising fund to provide Purdue Science Student Council the opportunity to better serve the students and faculty of the School of Science. Some of the responsibilities of the committee include:

  • Merchandise: coordinate the sales of merchandise advertising the PSSC and the School of Science to students, faculty, alumni, and the general public at events throughout the year.
  • Corporate Sponsorship: assist in gathering corporate sponsorship

  • Spring Science Scramble

PUBLICATIONS COMMITTEE

The Publications Committee is responsible for managing the production of all documents necessary to Purdue Science Student Council as well as facilitating the distribution of such documents. The Publications committee is responsible for Scientific Notation.
