Greetings from all of us at Purdue Science Student Council! We have been working very hard to bring you new opportunities to experience science outside the classroom. This year, it is our pleasure to have the first annual Science Week (Sept 28‐ Oct 2) with special guest, Dr. Andrew Feustel, Purdue Alumnus and NASA Astronaut! Check out our website for a complete schedule of Science Week events (www.purdue.edu/pssc).
If you are new to the College of Science, we want to welcome you to our community and invite you to actively participate in Science Student Council as well as other science related clubs. Our call‐out will be Wednesday, October 21 at 6 pm in LWSN B151. Refer to this monthly
“Scientific Notation” newsletter, a publication written for the students, by the students. We try to keep you up to date with Purdue news as well as involve global science information and some science fun!
We are continuing our goal to facilitate communication between students and the administration. If you would like

to make a comment, suggestion or say anything relating to the College of Science, I would love to hear from you and help in any way I can.
Don’t hesitate to e‐mail me at president@pssc.science.purdue.edu and visit our website for weekly updates!
